Have you ever got mad at yourself
because you either catch yourself procrastinating or KNOW that you can be doing something more productive?
For months, I’ve been struggling with this thought –
” Do I focus on coaching/consulting with clients or do I focus on team building? “
In case you haven’t heard… after an exhausting 8-month search, meeting with company presidents and top-earners, my business partner Tom and I finally chose the best company that fit our criteria and long term vision and goal.
In other words, I found a home and have been (slowly) getting back into the network marketing field leader mode since about 2 months ago.
However, you can continue to count on me to provide lots of generic money-making training tips and value to this awesome industry like I have been…
SO, why am I mad at myself?
Well, let me explain.
Over the last 2 years or so, I pretty much took a break from building a network marketing business.
And what I mean is… 100%, totally NOT engaged in recruiting, selling products or campaigning for any network marketing company.
Period.
I already had the skills, knowledge, experience and results so I went into coaching and consulting…
Coaching and consulting for leaders in network marketing, business owners in real estate, education, hair care, plumbing… you name it.
Connecting with leaders in the industry, making friends and interviewing them so I could share their stories with the world!
NOW, The reality is I’ve got the ITCH to be in the trenches building a team AGAIN.
Getting competitive about hitting different pins in my company and setting some records.
There is really nothing like playing in the game comparing to standing in the sidelines telling the players what to do.
Your see… full-time coaching/consulting can be a breeze because they could just leverage their “reputation.”
I’m going to tell it like it is.
Coaches could talk about the good old days all they want…
My business partner Tom Challan told his story over and over again… of how he personally sponsored 500 in one year, 300 the year after… which duplicated to over 40,000 people in less than 24 months.
Or I share with folks how I used online strategies working just 4 hours a MONTH to build a list of 15,000+ people, which brought in over 2,000 actual paying customers and close to $500,000 in revenue to my business…
But the truth is these stories can get old after a while.
Yup, I said it.
Although the stories are all true… even WE get bored telling the stories sometimes!
And the thing is when I see people in my company grabbing top recruiter spots and snatch up bonus pool money I am TICKED.
I think to myself that I need to be snatching up these bonuses and setting some records to lead my team by example!
I’m just getting really competitive again.
Wanting to lead…
Wanting to achieve.
I am mad at myself for staying in the coaching/consulting comfort zone and getting back into field leader mode TOO slowly!
It’s time to go out and create a story and lead and set some records again!
This time around, I’ve gotten wiser with more skills under my belt and added a few more years of life’s experiences to myself so I’m relate-able to more people!
It’s going to be a wild ride!
Today I’m hosting a webinar to share the 7-figure BLUEPRINT
which I’m going to follow to build my new business…
And I want to invite you to come and steal it from me
😉
Rest assured that this is very much a “generic” training webinar still, and I REFUSE to pitch and recruit on my webinars.
My personal ethnics and integrity simply won’t allow it.
So, if you want to see what the 7-figure blue print looks like, hop on tonight at 5:30PM PST.
Spaces are limited to just 1,00 people so don’t wait too long.
Hi Jerry:
I understand what you mean about missing the competitiveness, and not being in the networking game as a marketer. I too, took a break at one point a few years ago and I am so thrilled to to be back in the game.
I enjoy your material and feel like you always offer thoughtful information that has true value. You might enjoy the most recent blog post I did for Better Networker commentary and then turned it into a blog. Talks about what to look for when entering a company in a generic platform.
Talk with you soon! Would love to Interview you some time on my SuccessTV platform….
Stevi Sullivan 😉
